Details:  Saturday drive through only, families/individuals may pick-up free boxes of groceries starting at 2p.m. Sunday drive through only families/individuals may pick up free hot food between the hours of 3:30 p.m.- 4:30 p.m. Requirements are only to give name plus zip code and for families/individuals to remain in car. MakingIrHappenInc.org can be contacted via website or phone number. No appointment needed to collect food or meals. If help is needed for safe car parking for arrangements can be made where there will also be inside showers and toilets for temporary immediate needs.

LA Department of Public and Social Services
The LADPSS offer food stamps for those who qualify. Visit their website at dpss.lacounty.gov/programs.cfm to access food stamp information, as well as information on cash aid, elder services, health care, job programs, and other services.

Genesis House is a 28-bed, 90-day, family crisis shelter located in Pacoima for families with children that can comfortably house 10 families nightly.
 
Shepherd’s House is a 48-bed, 90-day, family crisis shelter located in the West San Fernando Valley for families with children that can comfortably house 12 families nightly.
 
The Get Together Foundation’s Casa de Vida is a 48-bed, 90-day, family crisis shelter located in the West San Fernando Valley for families with children that can comfortably house 12 families nightly.

Food Pantry Open Wednesday, and Friday 11:00am-1:00pm and 2nd & 4th Saturday of every month from 10am -12pm for food and clothes.
 
Clothing Closet Open Wednesday 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Friday 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., 2nd & 4th Saturday of Every Month 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Doors open at 10:30am and numbers are given out from 11:00 to 12:55. Serving begins at 11:00. Bring ID for everyone in house and proof of address.)
 
Medical Equipment /Hygiene Kits are also available such as crutches, canes, walkers, tooth brushes, soap, wash clothes, etc.
